A recent report via Independent UK has revealed that Chelsea defender and Germany International Antonio Rudiger is on course of joining Spanish club Real Madrid.

It is no longer news that Rudiger’s current contract with the Blues will lapse at the end of the season, and so far, there has been no agreement on the extension of a new deal.

The reports claimed that Rudiger had received lucrative offers to join Real Madrid and Bayern Munich when his deal expires.

However, the report stressed that the Los Blancos are leading the race for Rudiger’s signature after reaching an ‘informal agreement’ with his brother and agent Sahr Senesie.

The reports disclosed that Senesie met with Real Madrid chiefs a few weeks ago to discuss a potential free transfer for his sibling, which the two parties can officially begin negotiating at the turn of the year under the Bosman ruling.

Real Madrid are on the course of signing a new centre back defender who is experienced since the departure of Sergio Ramos to French club PSG last summer.
