Man Utd striker Cristiano Ronaldo has told the club’s hierarchy to cancel his contract as he seeks game time elsewhere.

Ronaldo, who wants to continue playing in the champions league is keen on leaving Old Trafford to achieve this.

The recent report revealed that the Portugal international has told the Red Devils he wants to be relinquished from his contract.

According to the reports, he reiterated his stance during talks with the Man United board at the club’s Carrington training ground on Tuesday.

There are claims that Man Utd are ready to let him leave and have told his representatives to explore other options in Europe.

While Ronaldo has been linked with moves to Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid, the chances of joining the clubs have been completely ruled out.

A report through Spanish outlet AS (Via UtdPlug) revealed the possible option for the 37-year-old is to go to Serie A side Napoli, who will play in the 2022/23 Champions League.

But for this to work out, Napoli manager, Luciano Spalletti, will have to sanction it.
