Football star Jack Wilshere has named West Ham midfielder Declan Rice the best in the world as he urged him to consider a move to Arsenal next summer.

It is no no news that the West Ham midfielder is in high demand ahead of the summer transfer window.

There are already interest for him from Manchester United and Chelsea, who are already preparing bids for the player after the 23-year-old’s impressive performances this season.

As of now West Ham value the England star at £150 million, meaning any club that wants to sign him must be ready to break the bank.

Wilshere, a former Arsenal and England midfielder, saw Rice put up another impressive display in West Ham’s 1-1 draw with Lyon in the Europa League on Thursday evening and applauded him.

“Tell me a better [defensive midfielder]DMF than Declan Rice right now?” Wilshere wrote on Twitter.

“Can’t think of anyone who can do what Dec [Rice] can,” he added.

And a fan proposed Liverpool’s Fabinho is a better option.

Wilshere replied, “Doesn’t have the presence Dec has.

“Dec can do everything he can and more.

“[Sergio] Busquets was the only one 3 or 4 years ago. And remember he played in a team that dominated possession in every game.

“Dec’s job is harder in this team. He could play in any team in Europe. Fact. Let’s hope it’s Arsenal.”
