Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly willing to leave Old Trafford on a free transfer in 2022, with Real Madrid is the next destination.

Pogba’s future at Manchester United has raised eyebrows in the past few months, with the former Juventus midfielder failing to agree on a new deal.

The 28 years old has just a year left on his current contract at Manchester United, and they are reports he’s not willing to sign a new deal anytime soon.

Sky Sport has now reported that Pogba has planned to leave United next summer on a free transfer and hopes to fulfil his dream by joining Real Madrid.

According to the report, former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane was a huge favourite of Pogba, but United at that time wanted between €180 million—€200 million.

Real Madrid were unable to meet such a price tag, but next summer might be their lucky year as Pogba will be joining as a free agent.

Pogba remains one of the most important players in Manchester United, and he showed this in their league opener against Leeds United.
