Manchester United have gotten their hands on Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane but the experience defender is yet to be unveiled at the Premier League side.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have identified the France international as the perfect player to partner Harry Maguire in the United backline.

However, despite bidding farewell to his teammates and posting a farewell message to Real Madrid fans on social media, Varane is yet to be unveiled at United.

This has become a major concern for United fan who believed the move might have hit a stumbling block in the last minute.

However, the latest report from The Telegraph has revealed that visa problems are preventing Varane from travelling to Manchester.

What’s also stopping the world cup winner is that he will have to undergo mandatory quarantine upon arrival.

The report added that Varane will take at least another seven days to be confirmed after he completes his United medical, a move that mean he might not be available for United’s Premier League campaign against Leeds United on August 14.

Varane spent ten years in Real Madrid, winning winning three La Liga titles and four Champions League crowns.
