Chelsea manager Graham Potter has said his side lost to Tottenham Hotspur because his players didn’t do enough to score goals.

According to Potter, Chelsea huffed and puffed in the second half against Tottenham, who won the match with a 2-0 scoreline thanks to goals from Oliver Skipp and Harry Kane.

The outcome of the match means the Blues remain in tenth position on the Premier League table with 31 points from 24 games.

Speaking at his post-match press conference, Potter said: “We are disappointed with the result. I thought we started the game well and for 20-25, we were playing well.

“The second half was relatively even but it started as badly as you can start. Once you’re a goal down, in a tight game, it is difficult.

“We huffed and puffed in the second half but we did not do enough to score.”
