Chelsea manager Graham Potter has applauded January signing and Argentina star Enzo Fernandez.

Recall that Fernandez completed a move to Chelsea on January transfer deadline day from Benfica.

Potter in a statement ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League tie with Fulham on Friday night described the Argentina World Cup winner as a fighter.

According to the former Brighton manager, Fernandez is not afraid as he added that the midfielder has courage.

“His personality is one that makes you think you have no concerns with him. He’s a fighter,” Potter said, as quoted by Chelsea’s official website.

“He understands how fortunate he is. He fights for the team, he is not afraid, he’s got courage, he’s open-minded, he wants to improve.”

Fernandez also made his debut for the Blues during their Friday night match vs Fulham in the English Premier League.
