Possible replacement found: Napoli ready to part ways with Chelsea, PSG target

Italian Serie A side Napoli are bracing up for life without their world class forward Osimhen who has been linked with an exit from the club in the summer.

Osimhen who won the Serie A with Napoli last season saw his impressive form gain interest from top clubs in Europe.

So far Chelsea and French side Paris Saint Germain PSG are consider the top clubs that have shown interest in Osimhen.

Ahead of his possible departure, Napoli are said to have identified Terem Moffi as a potential replacement for the Nigerian forward.

Like Osimhen, Moffi has had a prolific run for Ligue 1 side, OGC Nice.

The 23-year-old who has 11 goals to his name for Nice this season could find himself in Napoli in the summer.

Recent reports revealed PSG stand a better chance of signing Osimhen whose contract doesn’t run out until 2027.

PSG are keen on bring him to France as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who has openly voiced out his decision to leave in the summer.

Mbappe wants a deal from Spanish side Real Madrid, who have been interested in signing him in the past.

With the opportunity now open, the Los Blancos are yet to take a step.
