The latest report via The Athletic has revealed that Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is considering remaining at Old Trafford.

Pogba, who happens to be one of the most sought after midfielders in Europe, has been linked with moves to Real Madrid and Juventus. This has been further heightened because he has less than a year in his current contract with the Red Devils.

This latest report, however, claimed Pogba could stay put at Old Trafford by extending his contract at the club over the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Recall that Ronaldo moved back to Man Utd in the summer transfer window from Juventus.

With the Portugal striker now at Old Trafford, it appears Pogba’s mindset has changed, and he is more interested in remaining at Manchester United than leaving for another club.

If the French midfielder fails to put pen to paper for an extension this season, he would be on his way out of Old Trafford.

The reports revealed that Man Utd are already on the lookout for a possible replacement in case he decides to leave in the following summer transfer window.
