There are indications that Man Utd midfielder and France international Paul Pogba and his fellow countryman and PSG star Kylian Mbappe could be headed for Spanish club Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.

Pogba dropped this latest hint in a statement.

So far, Mbappe and Pogba have refused to extend their contracts at Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United, respectively, and would be free agents at the end of this season.

Pogba spoke on the possibility of playing alongside Mbappe at club level next season, and that could be Real Madrid, who have shown interest in signing the two French players.

Both players are ready to leave Manchester United and PSG, respectively, with both clubs struggling to perform.

While the Red Devils are struggling in all tournaments, PSG were recently kicked out of the UCL tournament as they lost a chance to win the trophy despite the number of football stars in their squad.

While Mbappe has been linked with moves to Real Madrid, Pogba’s future is hard to predict, as he has been linked with moves to PSG, Juventus and Real Madrid.

Pogba, when asked if he and Mbappe could be club teammates next season ahead of the 2022 World Cup, he told Le Figaro: “Why not? It’s always good to play with teammates for both the France national team and your club.”
