Pochettino speaks on what he expects vs Newcastle United

Chelsea will return to action on Monday evening when they face Newcastle United.

Ahead of the game, the Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino while addressing the press spoke about his expectations.

He said:

“The most important thing for us is to work on us. We need to find different solutions again to deal with these injuries and see if Marc Cucurella arrives in good condition, to see if we are changing the way we play.”

Pochettino also spoke on Newcastle United’s inconsistency as he said:

“Yes, that is one point [the injury problems] is why a team like them, it’s difficult for them to be consistent when you suffer so many injuries. Yes, that is one [reason]. Not only them but different teams can be impacted.”

Pochettino will hope to win all three points against the Magpies on Monday.
