Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino ahead of the Blues’ game against Newcastle United in the Premier League spoke about their chances of signing new players this summer transfer window.

The Blues are hoping to make some signings in the summer amid their poor performance since Todd Boehly took over.

Despite splashing millions on new players, positive results are not forthcoming as the Blues are seated outside the top ten on the league table.

Addressing the press on Thursday, Pochettino disclosed he doesn’t have an idea about Chelsea’s summer plan yet.

When asked if the Blues will sign new players in the summer, Pochettino said via footballlondon:

“I don’t know because I need also to be informed. Until today, we didn’t talk about that and the club today announced the financial. For sure, this afternoon or tomorrow, we will talk and I will be informed. I don’t know what is going to happen.”

Speaking on Chelsea’s finances, the manager said:

“Look, I am transparent. Charlie [press officer] told me one minute ago about this. I have not spoken to the owners or sporting directors because we were training. Maybe tomorrow we will have better information and I can explain next time my opinion.”
