Pochettino reveals Chelsea’s last summer signing

Chelsea will now focus on the new season as their manager Manager Mauricio Pochettino in a recent statement said he expects the club’s latest arrival, Cole Palmer, to be their last signing of the summer transfer window.

The Blues have now exceeded £1 billion since May 2022 following the arrival of Palmer from Manchester City for £40 million.

During a press conference ahead of their Premier League clash against Nottingham on Saturday, Pochettino was asked whether that would conclude Chelsea’s business on deadline day.

He said, “I think so. If something is going on, I don’t know. Last time I spoke to the sporting director was at 11am.

“They will communicate to me after the press conference if there is something.”

Meanwhile, the Blues manager also applauded their new signing who he said is a good fit for the club.

Palmer is expected to make his debut for the Blues when they take on Nottingham Forest this weekend
