Osimhen Vs Lukaku: Napoli, Chelsea could consider swap deal

Chelsea have been once again linked to Napoli star Victor Osimhen this summer transfer window.

The Blues are said to be keen on signing a striker that can score goals after their attacker Nicolas Jackson struggled in front of the goal last season.

To bolster their squad ahead of the new season, the Blues who are now managed by Enzo Maresca have been linked with moves for a new striker.

A recent update has revealed that Napoli could be open to offer Osimhen as part of a swap deal for Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku.

This was made public by popular football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, in a tweet on his X account on Monday.

Romano stated that the Italian Serie A side want a solution for Osimhen as they want to sign Lukaku for their manager Antonio Conte this summer.

This could be another opportunity for Conte and Lukaku to reunite.

Romano disclosed that the Naples could also be open to discussing Osimhen as part of Lukaku’s talks with the Blues.

The transfer expert also revealed that while Osimhen has said given a nod to French club PSG, the deal is on stand-by between the clubs.

It will be a boost for Chelsea if they can sign Osimhen, who must be willing to accept a pay cut to move to Stamford Bridge.
