One player Havertz will emulate at Arsenal

Former Arsenal star, Ray Parlour, has revealed one player the club’s new summer signing, Kai Havertz, would emulate.

According to Parlour, Havertz, who joined Arsenal from Chelsea in a £65million deal would take a cue from Martin Odegaard.

Parlour in a statement said Havertz could play in different roles and will be a ‘really good signing’ at Arsenal.

He, however, stressed that the former Chelsea star could toll the line of Odegaard by reviving his career at Arsenal.

Odegaard, who moved to Arsenal from Spanish club Real Madrid, was able to impress in the EPL after his tough time in La Liga.

As of now, the Norway midfielder is rated as one of the best players in the Premier League.

“Kai Havertz has a massive opportunity,” Parlour told JBI Training.

“I think he could be a really good signing. You need quality back-up across all positions, and I think he can play in a number of roles for Arsenal.

“In many ways, it is quite similar to when Arsenal signed Martin Odegaard.”
