Not Mount, Man Utd captain names players who have points to prove at Old Trafford

Manchester United captain and Portugal international Bruno Fernandes in a recent statement listed Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Rapha Varane, Andre Onana, Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof as players who have points to prove at the club.

Fernandes made this known when he was asked if the club’s summer signing, Mason Mount has something to prove at his new club.

“I have a point to prove, so does Licha, Casemiro, Rapha, Andre, Harry, Victor,” Fernandes said as quoted by Mirror UK.

“It’s not about him [Mason Mount]. He doesn’t have to prove anything more than anyone else.”

Meanwhile, Mount moved to Old Trafford this summer from Chelsea in a move many football experts have said the Blues would regret.

The England midfielder made his debut for Man United in their preseason victory against Leeds United.

He also present during the Red Devils recent defeat to Spanish club Real Madrid on Wednesday at the NRG stadium.
