Brentford manager Thomas Frank in a recent statement has named Arsenal led by Mikel Arteta as the number club in the Premier League.

Frank stressed that the North London club are genuine title contenders.

This comes after Arsenal defeated Frank’s Brentford’s 3-0 on Sunday, with William Saliba, Gabriel Jesus and Fabio Vieira scoring one goal each to secure all three points for the Gunners at the Brentford Community Stadium.

Arsenal remain at the top of the table with the victory after the opening seven games of the season.

“We lost 3-0, to the number one [team] in the Premier League,” Frank told Sky

“I said before that they are a top side…They didn’t create that many chances but had quality moments.

“They are top of the table so you cannot argue with that, they have done brilliant. Looking at the quality, they must be title contenders.”
