Napoli star waiting for Chelsea to submit offer

Chelsea may have been handed a major boost in their bid to sign Napoli star Victor Osimhen in the summer transfer window.

This comes as recent report via TEAMtalk revealed that Victor Osimhen is keen on a moving to Stamford Bridge this summer transfer window.

The report added that Nigerian striker is waiting for Chelsea to submit their bid to the Serie A club.

It is no longer news that Chelsea are keen on signing a prominent striker to support Nicolas Jackson who has failed to impress at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have identified Osimhen, who is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world as their target.

However, Chelsea will have to break the bank to sign him as he will not come cheap, with his Napoli contract having a release clause worth £113 million.

Osimhen has 17 goals for the Naples this season, which means he could be the perfect striker for Chelsea ahead of next season.

The Blues would find it hard to meet up with Napoli release clause especially as they wouldn’t be playing in the Champions League next season.

Aside from Chelsea, PSG are also said to be interested in Osimhen who they want as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe.
