Italian Serie A winner Napoli have reportedly increased the asking price for their key player and Nigerian star Victor Osimhen days after they won the domestic title for the first time in 33 years.

A report via Italian outfit, Il Matino said the Azzurri have increased the asking price of the Nigerian from €150 to €160 million.

This is believed to have been done to beat off interest for the 24-year-old striker this summer.

It is no longer news that top European clubs like Bayern Munich, PSG, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all at one point or the other been linked with moves to sign Osimhen in the summer transfer window.

This is coming after Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis had stated that the club would do everything possible to keep Osimhen this summer.

However, there are speculations that the Serie A winners will agree to a lucrative offer for the striker.

Osimhen is currently the top goalscorer in the Italian league with 23 goals in 27 matches this season and has been tipped to clinch an award this season.
