Mourinho says former Chelsea star not fantastic despite scoring a brace

Former Chelsea and now AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho has stated that former Chelsea star Tammy Abraham was not fantastic during their 3-0 win over Lazio on Sunday, even though the English striker scored two of the three goals.

Mourinho, in a post-match statement, disagreed with the press about Abraham being fantastic as he said that he expects more from the former Blues star.

During his first campaign in the Italian Seria A, Abraham scored 23 goals in all competitions, but Mourinho expects more from him.

According to the AS Roma manager, Abraham can do even more because he has that much potential.

“When you say Abraham is fantastic I disagree, he can do even more. I demand a lot from him because I know his potential, I’m not talking about goals but he must play every game with this attitude,” Mourinho told DAZN after the 3-0 win at the Stadio Olimpico.

The record revealed Abraham has more goals ahead of Gabriel Batistuta and Voncenzo Montella, who previously held Roma’s record for most goals in a debut season with 21, as he has 23 goals.
