Mount should be pushing for a move – Alan Brazil expresses surprise

Former Manchester United and Tottenham star Alan Brazil has in a recent statement revealed he is surprised that England midfielder Mason Mount is not pushing for a move from Chelsea to Arsenal.

There are claims that Mount has reached a personal agreement with Manchester United and is said to favour a move to Old Trafford than to other suitors.

Arsenal were reportedly interested in signing Mount, but Man Utd have recently emerged as the favourites.

They are said to be in talks with the Blues over transfer fees for the England international.

However, Brazil is of the opinion that Mount should follow his friend Declan Rice to Arsenal.

He said on TalkSPORT: “I like Mason Mount as a player. Would Arsenal not fancy him, or have they got too many players like him? If Declan [Rice] is going there, they’re buddies, aren’t they?

“I think it’s done, so I’m surprised that maybe Mason’s not made a move for that as well. I was going to say that maybe Chelsea doesn’t want to sell to another London club, but what’s the difference?”
