Former Chelsea star Frank Leboeuf has advised the club winger and Morocco international Hakim Ziyech to leave the club.

According to Leboeuf, Ziyech, who shone for Morocco during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, will rediscover his form if he leaves Stamford Bridge.

Recall that Ziyech arrived at Chelsea from Dutch club Ajax in a deal worth about £33 million in 2020 and has so far helped won three trophies with the Blues.

But he has seen his game time reduced this season and was linked with a loan move to French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in January.

So far, Ziyech has made 102 appearances for the Blues, scoring 14 goals.

Leboeuf told ESPN, “Ziyech is not happy and he wants to work.

“Every time he plays for Morocco, he’s the best player in the world, and every time he plays for Chelsea, he feels sad and lost.

“So I wish him to go somewhere else where he can show to the world he’s still the Ziyech that we have seen when he played for Ajax.’’
