Messi reacts as he leads Argentina to world cup final

Argentina have made it to the final of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar where they could now face one of France or Morocco.

Reacting, Argentina captain, Lionel Messi expressed his confidence that they will go all the way to win the World Cup this time around.

Messi made this known in a post-match statement after knocking out Croatia on Tuesday night.

The 35-year-old inspired his side to a 3-0 win in their semi-final clash, scoring from the penalty spot and then setting up Julian Alvarez twice.

This will be the second World Cup final Messi would feature in and could end his international career after the tournament.

“The entire World Cup was incredible, what we experienced and now we are going for the last match, which is what we wanted. We have been through tough situations, other very good ones.

“Today, we are living something spectacular. I’m enjoying it with all of these people and all the Argentines that are in our country. I imagine it has to be crazy,” Messi said.
