Manchester United and Manchester City could apparently battle for the signature of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane during this present summer’s transfer window.

The English international has again been in amazing form for Spurs during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 29 goals and registering 16 assists in 41 appearances in all competitions.

The 27-year-old actually has over three years left to run on his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, however as per The Athletic, he will push for a move this summer if Spurs fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Jose Mourinho’s side were taken out of the Europa League a month ago, implying that they should complete in the Premier League’s top four to be available in next season’s top European competition.

The way things are, the North London club are 6th in the table, three points behind fourth-placed West Ham United, ahead of Sunday’s battle with Manchester United.

The report guarantees that Manchester United and Manchester City are both keen on signing the Englishman and could battle for his services in the impending market.

Harry Kane, who will supposedly delay a decision on his future until after this current summer’s European Championships, is also accepted to be admired by Barcelona and Real Madrid.
