Manchester United legend sends inspiring message to Arsenal youngster

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has nothing but words of praise for Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka after his penalty miss at Euro 2020 final.

England lost to Italy on penalties after both teams played out a 1-1 draw after extra-time in what was an intriguing final.

Marcos Rashford and Jadon Sancho missed England, with Saka losing the decisive penalty just minutes after he was introduced for Kieran Trippier in the second half.

Fans have racially abused the three players on social media, but Gary Neville and other top stars have continued to show them their support.

Neville, while speaking after the game, heap praise on Saka despite his penalty shootout heartbreak.

Speaking on ITV Sport after the game, Neville stated that it’s absolutely heartbreaking for Saka.

According to Neville, gone are the days whereby the penalty takers that miss gets criticised and lambasted.

He noted that everybody had loved this boy for the last few weeks; they will love him in the next few weeks as well because he’s been absolutely brilliant.

Neville added that Saka should hold his head high because everyone is going to look after him now for the next few months.
