Manchester United consider swap deal for Osimhen

Manchester United are one of the clubs that have returned with interest for Nigerian star Victor Osimhen ahead of the January transfer window.

The Red Devils are reportedly open to swapping their new signing Joshua Zirkzee for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen in January.

This is because Zirkzee has struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League since signing for the Red Devils from Bologna in the summer window. 

A report via MEN Sport understands that there are some doubts at Old Trafford that the Dutchman may not have what it takes to be a regular player in the Reds’ squad under manager Ruben Amorim.

As such, the have been rumours tipping his return to the Italian Serie A a possibility.

With Man United looking to bolster their attack, the latest name to be linked with the EPL is Osimhen.

Recall that Man Utd were linked with moves for Osimhen under former manager Erik ten Hag but the club were unable to afford him.

Aside from Man Utd, Osimhen who was linked to Arsenal and Chelsea in the Premier League was shipped out on loan to Turkish side Galatasaray in the summer.
