With Manchester City failing to sign Harry Kane and losing out on a shock move for Cristiano Ronaldo, their star midfielder Rodri has revealed how Pep Guardiola’s side will cope this season.

Manchester City are on the lookout for a striker after Sergio Aguero was allowed to leave the club on a free transfer this summer.

The departure of Aguero has left a spot to be filled and Pep Guardiola has not been able to get his hand on a recognized forward despite bringing in Jack Grealish.

However, Rodri believes his side are well equipped for the season even if a new striker doesn’t arrive before the transfer deadline.

Speaking to journalist after their impressive victory over Arsenal, Rodri stated that Ferran Torres who scored twice in the match can play as a striker like many other players.

Rodri stated that Torres has the ability to run in behind, he has goals and though he is not a number nine, he does things like a number nine.

According to Rodri, Torres moves into spaces, he can run, accept the ball and it is interesting having him in this position as he was important against Arsenal.
