Manchester United’s minority owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, in a recent statement disclosed he prefers to see Arsenal win the Premier League title this season ahead of Manchester City and Liverpool.

Arsenal have been impressive this season and are tipped as one of the favourites to win the EPL this season.

As of now only one point separates Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City with 10 fixtures left in what has been described as the tightest title race ever.

Speaking on the Geraint Thomas Cycling Club podcast, Ratcliffe was reluctant to name a favourite, stressing that he hates them all.

But when pushed by Thomas, he admitted “it would be good” to see Mikel Arteta get his side over the line, praising the patience shown by Gunners with their manager over the years.

He said: “I hate them all! We have got Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal, haven’t you? I don’t know. They are all the enemy, I couldn’t possibly choose one.

“It would be good for Arteta, actually. He has done really well there. Arsenal have been patient with him, which is nice as well.”
