Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes has mentioned the player he would love the chance to play alongside at Old Trafford.

Fernandes revealed the player as Benfica midfielder Joao Neves at the Red Devils.

According to the Red Devils midfielder, Neves has quality as he added that the 19-year-old would be a great player in the coming years.

So far, Neves has been impressively filling the void in Benfica’s midfield since Enzo Fernandez left to join Chelsea last January.

Speaking ahead of Portugal’s 2024 Euro qualifier with Iceland on Sunday night, Fernandes when asked about Neves, said “It has to be the Man United coach who says whether he has a place or not.

“He is a great player, I don’t know if he would have a place or not. It depends on the coach and his ideas.

“But he’s an excellent player and an excellent kid, very professional, he will have a bright future wherever he goes.
