Manchester United have been linked with a shocking move for Anwar El-Ghazi amid uncertainty over the futures of Antony and Jadon Sancho at Old Trafford.

A report via the Daily Mail revealed that the Red Devils are considering making a move for the 28-year-old who is now a free agent after leaving PSV by mutual consent.

El-Ghazi has experience playing in the Premier League, having played for Aston Villa and Everton in the past.

There were reports that he was in the stands when Erik ten Hag’s led Man Utd side lost 3-1 to Arsenal before the international break.

El Ghazi has also attracted interest from Saudi Arabia but could be tempted to move to Old Trafford instead, where he could play in the Champions League.

Man Utd are bracing up for life without Antony, who is taking a period of absence after allegations of assault were made against him in Brazil.

Sancho on the other hand, is keen on leaving following his public spat with Ten Hag.
