Manchester United have been handed a boost ahead of their weekend match vs Nottingham Forest this weekend.

This comes as the recent report revealed the Red Devils new striker, Rasmus Hojlund could make his debut for following his £72 million move from Atalanta.

Since joining Man Utd this summer, The Denmark star is yet to play for the Red Devils.

Hojlund had sustained a back injury during his pre-season with Atalanta which has forced him onto the sidelines.

An MRI scan from his Man United medical showed that it was a stress response hotspot in his back, which could lead to further stress fractures in the future.

However, the Daily Mail in a recent update revealed Hojlund could be in action this weekend against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils led by manager Erik ten Hag will be looking to bounce back with a win after losing 2-0 at Tottenham last weekend.
