Man City hoping to convince Tottenham to sell Kane as they add Gabriel and Sterling to the deal

Ahead of the new season, Man City are reported to be working tirelessly to get Tottenham Hotspur to sign out Harry Kane to them in the summer transfer window.

With Sergio Aguero now out of the club to Barcelona officially, the Citizens are now in need of a striker that can put up goals for them, and it appears Kane is the player with such abilities.

While Tottenham Hotspur will not be willing to let Kane leave as he still has three years off his current contract, they would also not be willing to sign him out to a direct rival in the Premier League.

To convince Tottenham, the reports revealed that Man City will be adding the duo of Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling to the deal.

According to The Sun, Man City believe that they can persuade Tottenham to cash in by offering a couple of attackers to soften the blow of losing Kane.

Even if Tottenham were interested in signing Sterling and Jesus, the are indications that Man City would still have to pay a cash sum on top to make up the £150m Spurs are demanding for.

Also, they will be faced with competition from the likes of Man City and Chelsea who are also in the race to sign the Englishman.
