Mainoo names 3 former Man Utd stars he loves to watch

Manchester United young midfielder Kobbie Mainoo in a recent statement has expressed how much he loved watching the club’s former players Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes and Eric Cantona play while growing up as a child.

Mainoo made this known while speaking to the press ahead of England’s international friendly match against Brazil on Saturday night.

The 18-year-old, who said he appreciates the three football stars, also said he has always dreamed of playing for the Three Lions first team.

“I loved watching [Wayne] Rooney. Paul Scholes as well and King Eric [Cantona]. It was a bit before my time, but I still appreciate it,” Mainoo said.

“Of course, as a kid you always dream of playing for England.

“But at the time I was just taking it game by game.”

Mainoo will hope to get his first England cap against Brazil.
