Liverpool are in the transfer market for new players, but they are also on the verge of agreeing to a new deal with three of their top players.

Jurgen Klopp’s team could not win any silverware last season, with Manchester City sweeping them aside to win the Premier League.

The reds are eager to take their place at the top, a move that has seen them linked with Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.

With a deal yet to be sorted out for the world cup winner, Liverpool are reportedly working on a new contract offer for midfielder Fabinho.

The reds are also hoping to seal new agreements for Virgil van Dijk and Alisson in the coming weeks, Fabrizio Romano reports.

According to Romano, Liverpool’s main priority is to sort out new contracts for Alisson Becker and Virgil van Dijk.

He noted that the reds are also working on Fabinho’s deal as they hope to extend the contracts as soon as possible.

This will come as a piece of positive news for Liverpool fans who saw their star midfielder Gini Wijnaldum leave on a free transfer to join French side PSG this summer.
