Former England international, Gary Lineker has made a bold statement about the country’s national team as he claimed that the Three Lions are now the most in-form team in the World.

Lineker made this known after England scored three goals in the space of eleven minutes during their UEFA Nations League tie against Germany on Monday night.

The Three Lions led by Gareth Southgate drew with Germany at Wembley Stadium, thanks to goals from Luke Shaw, Mason Mount and Harry Kane.

While IIkay Gundogan and Kai Havertz scored for Germany.

But Lineker said when the English team are forced into playing to their strengths, they look like a good team.

In a tweet via his Twitter handle, Lineker said, “When @england are forced into playing to their strengths (attacking), they look a good side. When they play to cover their weaknesses (defending), they look a poor side.

“England with 3 goals in the space of 11 minutes. We’re now the most in-form side in World football.”
