Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has been advised to sign out at least four players on loan for them to sign Napoli star Victor Osimhen in the summer.

While it is yet to be known if Lampard will remain at Stamford Bridge after the end of the season as he was appointed temporarily, however, football pundit and The Mirror Editor, Mark Jones has advised whoever takes that position to make a loan move for David Datro Fofana, Carney Chukwuemeka, Lewis Hall and Omari Hutchinson.

He also stated Chelsea didn’t have to sign Denis Zakaria permanently from Juventus after his loan deal.

According to Jones, Chelsea’s squad need to be rebuilt ahead of next season’s challenge.

He wrote in his column for The Mirror: “So that’s six out permanently, and I’d look at loaning out the likes of David Datro Fofana , Carney Chukwuemeka , Lewis Hall and Omari Hutchinson, while I’m not signing Denis Zakaria permanently after his loan deal. So that’s 11 out.”

He stressed that Chelsea would need to make more additions to the attack despite having Kai Havertz, Raheem Sterling, Noni Madueke and Mykhaylo Mudryk.

Jones also advised Chelsea to hand Joao Felix a permanent deal “and then I’d go all out for Victor Osimhen from Napoli who is exactly the type of No.9 Chelsea are missing right now.”

“In fact he’d probably take the No.9 shirt, but is good enough to lift the curse,” he concluded.
