Former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has been linked with moves to replace Laurent Blanc at Ligue 1 club Lyon.

A report from 90min revealed Lampard is already in talks with the Ligue 1 side over the vacant role.

Lampard, a former England midfielder, who both played and coached the Blues, is currently out of job.

Recall that Lampard took charge of the Blues on an interim basis until the end of the 2022/2023 season before the club signed Mauricio Pochettino as their new permanent manager.

However, since then, Lampard has been without a coaching job but that is about to change as he could be set for a return to management.

Meanwhile, Lyon sacked Blanc after 11 months of being charge at the club following a poor start to the season.

As of this season, the French club are currently winless after the opening four games
