Chelsea midfielder and France international N’Golo Kante has returned to training with some other players at Cobham after missing the Blues’ last six matches over a hamstring injury.

Kante had started the Blues’ first two Premier League matches of the season against Everton and Tottenham Hotspur before he sustained an injury during their draw with fellow London rivals in mid-August.

The Frenchman’s return is great news for new manager Graham Potter ahead of a tough month as Chelsea are set to play nine matches in October in all competitions.

Other players at the training ground include goalkeepers Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy, English duo Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Trevoh Chalobah, and summer signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

In another report, Chelsea’s new manager Potter will finally make his debut for the club in the Premier League this weekend when they face Crystal Palace.

This will, however, be Potter’s second match as Chelsea manager as he had led them to a draw in the UCL against RB Salzburg a few weeks ago.
