Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag in a recent report has expressed excitement over the club’s decision to sign Rasmus Hojlund this summer transfer window.

Ten Hag, who also reacted to reports that Harry Kane is leaving Tottenham Hotspur to join German side Bayern Munich in the same window said it was a miss for Premier League.

Recall that Hojlund, 20, joined the Red Devils in a deal that could end up costing £72 million.

The Red Devils were also linked with moves for Kane earlier this summer and were on the verge of joining Bayern to sign him for more than £100 million.

“We have chosen a striker, and we are really happy with our choice.

“[Kane] is a great striker, a goal maker, and apart from that, he has all the conditions and abilities that you want to see in a striker. It’s a miss for the Premier League, absolutely,” Ten Hag told a news conference on Friday.
