Jose Mourinho set to storm Manchester United for the signature of out-of-favour winger

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to sign Jesse Lingard on loan from Manchester United as he continues to struggle under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Jesse Lingard’s career at Manchester United has taken a dramatic turn around as the Englishman who was one of the first team players has continued to sit on the bench.

The England international has been restricted to three appearances for United this term as he has the likes of Greenwood, Martial, Rashford and Daniel James ahead of him in the team.

His situation has been monitored by clubs in England who are willing to take him on loan for at least six months and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly join the race.

According to talkSPORT, Tottenham are interested in signing the attacker during the January window as he would want a reunion with Jose Mourinho.

Lingard played an important role under Jose Mourinho at Manchester United and he will be willing to continue his football career under the Portuguese coach rather than sit on the bench under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

With Lingard’s existing deal with the 20-time English champions due to expire in June 2022, United are not in a hurry to let him go on a permanent deal and might not be willing to strengthen an opposition in Tottenham Hotspur.
