Manchester United are hoping to sign a new attack player this ongoing January transfer window.

The reports via The Athletic’s Laurie Whitwell and Dan Sheldon revealed the four players are Erik Choupo-Moting and Thomas Muller of Bayern Munich, Timo Werner of RB Leipzig and Serhou Guirassy of VfB Stuttgart.

Erik ten Hag-led Man Utd side want to make a move for low-cost options to bolster their attacking third in the second half of the season.

The reason for a new player at the attack for the Red Devils is not far-fetched.

This season has been challenging for Man United, who have not really impressed in the attacking third, losing 14 matches across all competitions.

They have endured nine defeats in the Premier League, where they currently sit in seventh position in the log.
