Italian side Napoli are reportedly in talks with Chelsea over the availability of Emerson Palmieri this summer transfer window.

Chelsea are willing to let go of some experience player this summer and Emerson has been listed as one of the players that might be leaving Stamford Bridge.

Reports have also claimed that Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti has identified Emerson Palmieri as the No.1 target for the Azzurri this summer.

However, Chelsea’s asking price is making the deal complicated and the deal might be dragged till the transfer deadline day.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have now reported that a Napoli representative is currently in London to continue talks with the Blues for the former Roma defender.

The report also claimed that Napoli will be moving for Liverpool defender Konstantinos Tsimikas who has emerged as a possible alternative.

Chelsea are reportedly asking Napoli to pay €20m for the Italy international, while Napoli want to sign Emerson on loan with an option to buy.
