Injury scare for Chelsea as their 22-year-old star hobby off

A recent report via Metro revealed Chelsea could have suffered another woes as their Mykhaylo Mudryk hobbled off with a calf problem during Ukraine’s game against England in the Euro 2024 qualifiers over the weekend.

The Blues’ forward made the starting line-up as both nations held on to a 1-1 draw.

But towards the end of the Mudryk asked to be replaced while giving the Blues another injury scare.

The Ukraine star fell to the floor after he failed to get past Kyle Walker.

In the first half, Mudryk required medical treatment after a tackle by Marcus Rashford.

There are no details yet on the extent of Mudryk’s injury but if it turns out serious, then it is another major blow for Chelsea, who already have a number of players on the sidelines.

Players on Chelsea’s injury list include Romeo Lavia, Christopher Nkunku, Reece James, Wesley Fofana, Carney Chukwuemeka, and Trevoh Chalobah are already nursing their respective injuries.
