If Sarri returns to Napoli, this Chelsea midfielder could return to Seria A

Chelsea may have a tough time keeping some of their key players when the summer transfer window starts some months from now.

One of the players the Blues could find it difficult to keep at Stamford Bridge is Jorginho

While Jorginho remains a key player in the midfield under new coach, Thomas Tuchel, the Italian star could return to the Italian Seria A if former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri returns to Napoli.

Recall that Sarri brought Jorginho with him from Napoli to Chelsea in 2018 because the Italian is highly instrumental to the achievement of “Sarri Ball.”

There are indications that Napoli are planning to replace their coach, Carlos Ancelotti with Sarri.

If this should happen, Jorginho’s agent, Jorge Santos has said his principal can’t be ruled out of a return to the Seria A.

Football is dynamic and nothing can be ruled out,” Santos told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli. “If Sarri returns to Napoli, he would make an attempt to bring Jorginho back. He is perfect for his football. I can’t rule it out.”

We will have to wait to see if Napoli will sign Sarri again to know if Jorginho will reunite with his former manager in the Seria A.

The Italian is expected to return to action when the Blues take on Newcastle in their next game.
