Thomas Tuchel’s era at Chelsea will begin on Wednesday night when he takes his team to the field of play to battle Wolverhampton Wanderers, one of the most consistent sides in the league for the last few seasons.

The former Paris Saint-Germain manager will eager to start on a winning mode as he’s
expected to get Chelsea’s faltering top-four challenge back on track after Frank Lampard’s poor run of form.

Chelsea are currently ninth on the table and fans are eagerly anticipating Tuchel’s first-team players when the line up is released in the next few hours.

We’ve decided to bring you the players that might be appearing for Thomas Tuchel in his first game in charge of Chelsea.

In the goalkeeping department, Kepa Arizzabalaga and Eduardo Mendy remain the club first two keeper and that will not change under Thomas Tuchel.

The German tactician will be going for Edouard Mendy as Kepa Arizzabalaga has not been showing any sign of improvement.

Chelsea’s backline for Thomas Tuchel might be different from that of Lampard as he might be going for the experience of Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger.

Recce James and Ben Chilwell are likely to retain their place in the left and right-back position.

The blues midfield might be a problem for Tuchel when it comes to selecting his players.

However, with Tuchel attempting to sign Jorginho during his PSG tenure, the Italian might be making a return to the blues set up.

Jorginho might be supported by Kovacic who has become an important player in the squad while Mason Mount might be forced to start from the bench as Kai Havertz will be given a chance to revive himself.

Upfront, Timo Werner will be leading the line as fellow summer signing Hakim Ziyech and former Dortmund forward Pulisic will be joining him.

It promises to be a thrilling contest when Chelsea meet Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tuchel will be willing to prove a point.
