Former Aston Villa striker, Gabriel Agbonlahor has slammed Arsenal attacking midfielder Kai Havertz for his poor performances for the club so far this season.

Agbonlahor in a statement said Havertz is getting worse, has no confidence and slows down Arsenal’s attacks.

This comes after Arsenal’s Premier League 3-1 win against Burnley last weekend.

Speaking to talkSPORT about Havertz, Agbonlahor said as quoted by TBR Football: “There’s no confidence.

“He slows down attacks. He is playing in a comfort zone, and he is getting worse.”

Despite his poor form, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta seems to have faith in the German as he has continued to give him game time to prove himself.

Havertz arrived at Emirates Stadium from the Gunners’ Premier League London rivals Chelsea in the summer for £65 million.

He, has, however, struggled to meet up with the money Arsenal paid to sign him.
