Chelsea have been handed a major boost in their upcoming affair with Liverpool as a wing back Callum Hudson-Odoi is expected to be fit for the match holding on Thursday night.

Callum Hudson-Odoi have become one of Thomas Tuchel’s most trusted player ever since he began his reign at Chelsea boss and he has not disappointed his manager.

The England international have put in some impressive performance but was substituted at half time of the 0-0 draw with Manchester United on Sunday.

His substitution didn’t raise eyebrows but he was seen with an ice pack strapped to his left thigh and this got fans wondering about his injury status.

Fans have been sceptical of the changes Tuchel will be forced to make in the squad if Hudson-Odoi fails to get fit in time for the match against Liverpool.

However, Hudson-Odoi who is product of Chelsea academy should be available to fill it once more at Anfield, according to Daily Star.

Having started seven of Tuchel’s nine games in charge at Chelsea, and in the process impressing the 47-year-old coach, fans will be happy to see him on the pitch against a Liverpool eager to get back on track.
