Chelsea returned to action on Monday when they played against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

The game ended with a win for the Blues who secured all three points against Crystal Palace in a 3-1 scoreline.

Crystal Palace had the lead in the game after a superb long-range strike from Jefferson Lerma.

However,  the visitors, Chelsea led by manager Mauricio Pochettino, responded well and equalised less than two minutes into the second half when Conor Gallagher fired home from close range against his former club.

Chelsea pressed more as the game drew to a close and they eventually emerged winners against Palace thanks to two goals in stoppage time, with Cole Palmer setting up both Gallagher and Enzo Fernandez to help the Blues secure back-to-back away win in the space of five days.

Chelsea’s recent win has eased the pressure on manager Pochettino, who has seen his side climb up to 10th in the Premier League table.
