Arsenal player Alex Iwobi has reacted after scoring the winning goal in stoppage time as Marco Silva’s side defeated their hosts Man Utd 2-1 on Saturday.

The win was Fulham’s first in 15 years over Manchester United, which made it even more special.

Iwobi’s Nigerian teammate, Calvin Bassey scored the lead goal for Fulham in the 65th minute.

Manchester United managed to score an equaliser after a goal from Harry Maguire a minute from time.

Iwobi then secured all three points for Fulham by netting the winning goal deep into stoppage time.

“I’m over the moon right now, to win at Old Trafford in the last minute is crazy, there’s no better feeling,” he told the club’s official website.

“We feel like we performed really well, we’ve been performing well recently, and today is a step in the right direction and hopefully, we can kick on from there.”

The Nigeria international also reflected on his winning strike : “As soon as I cut inside, I felt like the keeper was going to be in the far corner, so I gave him the eyes and it went in.

“I haven’t seen his reaction, but everyone said he couldn’t move, so a goal is a goal, I’ll take it and move on to the next,” he added.
