Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is hoping for a shakeup in his team ahead of next season and especially as they come under new ownership.

With the UK Government finally approving Todd Boehly consortium’s £4.25bn takeovers, Chelsea can now focus on football proper.

The UK Mirror reported that Boehly is confident he can bring at least one statement signing to the club, but Tuchel wants much.

With Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen leaving the club as free agents this summer, there are also reasons to believe that Marcos Alonso and the Blues captain Cesar Azpilicueta are equally on their way out.

As a possible replacement in the defence, Chelsea have been tipped to complete a transfer for Sevilla defender, Jules Kounde, within days.

Kounde is likely to cost Chelsea more than £50m, and while Tuchel could have up to £200m to spend this summer, he must sell players to reach that figure.

To achieve this, there are claims Chelsea will take offers for the likes of Ross Barkley, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech.

There is uncertainty over the future of Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku, both of who have expensive signings but have failed to impress at the club.
